At The Willow Warren you will find UK grown Timothy Rich Hay, natural fun willow toys, like tunnels, tepees, balls, wobbles etc. and yummy treats like dried plantain for your pets.
We cater predominantly for rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, rats, gerbils, degus, hamsters and prairie dogs, but some of our products are also suitable for tortoises, iguanas or cage birds like parrots.
Our range of bunny toys started of as a favour, but then proved popular beyond our expectations. When we looked what was available, we discovered that there were many unsuitable pet treats and toys out there: Rabbits treats containing too much sugar, hamster chews containing chicken, parrot toys that can cause zinc poisoning.
So we set out to develop products that are all and foremost chosen to achieve a healthy and stimulating enhancement to the environment or the diet of your pet. Most of the willow used in our toys is grown here at The Willow Warren. However, not all of these would be suitable for our toys and and we take great care only to select types of willow with low salicin levels to avoid stomach upsets.
The willows have been grown without the use of pesticides, unless indicated otherwise.
Similarly, our Timothy Rich Hay is grown either directly on our farm here in Pembrokeshire or to our exact specifications at a second location in an environmentally friendly system.
