Rabbit & Guinea Pig Rescue Organisations and Supporting Sites
There are many good rabbit and guinea pig rescues in the UK and it would be impossible to list them all, but here are a few which would be glad to be supported by you.
If you are looking for a rabbit or a guinea pig, please consider one of the many rescues first ! These are excellent websites helping you to find a rabbit or guinea pig in a shelter near to you - even giving you descriptions of all the many rabbits and guinea pigs that would love to come home with you!
Ebony Eyes www.ebonyeyes.co.uk A "retirement home" for old and disabled rabbits. These are all rabbits in need of extended care - visit their website to see what excellent work John and Jay are providing.
If you have a rabbit, we recommend you join! The RWA (and it's sister organisation, the Rabbit Welfare Fund) are working hard at improving the life of rabbits in Britain, by producing an excellent quarterly magazine, organising fund raising events and conferences aimed at rabbit owners and veterinary staff and sponsoring scientific studies to increase knowledge about rabbit health.
Advise on care, behaviour and diet - either as articles, FAQ's or even video clips.
